WE WILL CONVERT YOUR INKROLL FINGERPRINTS TO DIGITAL IMAGES AND SUBMIT ELECTRONICALLY TO RTID-RCMP.
Fingerprints Plus has developed a safe, convenient, and fast process to collect your ink roll fingerprints for conversion to digital images and electronic submission to RTID for Criminal Record Verification. We are pleased to offer our Card Scan services to persons, who are currently living abroad and have previously lived in Canada.
RCMP no longer accepts submissions of Ink roll fingerprints directly from individuals. Ink roll fingerprints must be submitted to one of the accredited fingerprinting agencies, who will then convert them into digital images and submit electronically to RTID. The individual then receives the RCMP certified criminal record verification by regular mail. This certificate is also referred to as PCC from Canada, Canadian Police Clearance etc. It is issued and sent by regular post by RCMP to an address that is provided by the applicant.
Fingerprints Plus Inc is a “Direct to RTID branch”, that are accredited to submit digital fingerprints electronically to RCMP. We have deployed a high standard electronic, physical and other security measures in our organization to protect the integrity of our data and safeguard everyone’s confidentiality interests. On applicant’s request, we can receive the certificate from RCMP and make the delivery of the original by registered mail or courier. We will also send you a PDF copy by email.
FOR PERSONS WHO MAY BE ASKED TO REPEAT THEIR CRIMINAL RECORD SUBMISSIONS, WE ARE PLEASED TO INTRODUCE A NO PROCESSING FEE GUARANTEE FOR REPEAT FINGERPRINT SUBMISSION FOR THE SAME PURPOSE WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF YOUR INTIAL PROCESSING DATE BY US”.
GOVERNMENT FEE IF ANY MAIL/COURIER CHARGES WILL STILL APPLY. YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY A NEW SET OF FINGERPRINTS AS WELL BECAUSE PREVIOUS SUBMISSIONS WOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED.
OUR ROBUST PROCESS IN BRIEF:
Step 1: Applicant registers on our website and completed online data form.
Step 2; Fingerprints Plus reviews the application and ensures that the correct application was chosen based on the intended use of the certificate (mostly on same day or within 24 hours).
Please note that if you are not familiar with or comfortable with the online process, please write us an email at fppcardscan@myfingerprints.ca, and we will generate and provide the form for you.
Step 3. Fingerprints Plus sends prefilled forms with instructions via email. Applicants get Fingerprints completed as per instructions.
Step 4. Applicant emails a pdf copy of the completed forms for review by Fingerprints Plus. This saves you time and money from making incomplete and/or erroneous submissions.
Step 5. Fingerprints Plus reviews the forms and send you a payment advice and courier instructions.
Step 6. Fingerprints Plus receives documents and payment, processes the documents, mostly on the same day or within 24 hours and will send a processing confirmation to the applicant (DCN Number).
Step 7. RCMP sends the certificate by regular mail to the address provided for delivery of the document. This can be one of the following:
- Your home address/your mailing address (Individual)
- Fingerprints Plus
- A Third party address provided by the applicant (Third Party)
Please note that if Fingerprints Plus was chosen as the recipient of the certificate, we will scan the certificate on the day it arrives and send you a PDF copy by email and send the original by registered mail. An Extra cost of $40 applies for processing and registered post.
CURRENT FEE SCHEDULE:
Processing Fee: $150.00 CDN per application. It’s one of the lowest in the industry.
Federal Fee (Where applicable): $25.00
